Package and its Contents
The memory kit arrived in a retail package that contains two 16GB memory modules. The package tells us all we need to know about the product and the possible support in case of any problems.
Memory modules are built on a black PCB and are protected by dark-silver, aluminum heatsinks. On one side are stickers with product series and product numbers. On top is a light bar, so it’s a pretty typical design for memory modules with RGB lighting. What’s for sure new is the design of the Zenith series. It’s clearly the best-looking Silicon Power RAM and fresh design, which is hard to mistake for any other on the market. I’m glad that Silicon Power decided to make such a move as the Zenith RAM looks great.
Silicon Power doesn’t provide any software for RGB management. However, the Zenith series is supported by every popular RGB standard and motherboard brand. We could adjust various RGB modes on ASUS, MSI, and Biostar motherboards. Below you can check how the memory looks with illumination. Actually, they’re looking better than in photos. The camera focuses on a single LED backlight that isn’t visible during work in a dynamic lighting mode. More LEDs would probably give a bit better effect.
On the next page of this review, we will take a closer look at the performance.
