XPOWER Turbine RGB DDR4-3600 is equipped with one XMP profile, which runs without issues on AMD and Intel chipsets. Quite relaxed timings of CL18-22-22 are a popular option nowadays and ensure compatibility and stability on even older processor series with weaker memory controllers.
Silicon Power offers memory kits up to DDR4-4133, but most users won’t really need anything past DDR4-3600. For the latest AMD chipsets, it’s optimal speed. You can also expect that the fastest memory kits won’t be available at a higher capacity. Barely any manufacturer decided to release 16GB memory modules at more than DDR4-3600.
The memory is based on Hynix IC, but the software can’t read what it is exactly, and memory chips are rebranded with the Silicon Power logo. End users don’t really need to care about the IC, but some gamers and enthusiasts like to know what is under the heatsinks, so further adjustments are easier. All easy to achieve overclocking results will be mentioned in this review to know what can expect of this memory series.
The tested memory runs without issues on ASUS, ASRock, and MSI motherboards with AMD B550 and X570 chipsets. Below is a screenshot that was taken after three hours of the AIDA64 stability test. For now, it’s more than enough, while more tests we will perform later.
So far, so good. Now let’s take a look at the product itself.
