Conclusion
The Zenith DDR5-5600 is one more interesting memory kit from Silicon Power. It works fast, is stable, and programmed profiles have no compatibility issues with new motherboards. Additionally, it has huge overclocking potential, which suggests a high-quality design.
The design is about the same as in the Zenith DDR4 series. I was expecting more differences since we have a new RAM generation. There were also little problems with ASUS software and RGB management. The RAM not always uses desired illumination options, or single LEDs are blinking, and the PC requires a restart. It can be a matter of early software, motherboard software, or some hardware incompatibility. Either way, it’s easy to solve. For most users, it won’t matter.
While this review was ready, there were no Silicon Power Zenith DDR5 memory kits in popular stores like Amazon, so it’s hard to say the exact price. We only expect it will be lower than the competitive DDR5 memory kits, and we already see that the DDR5 prices are going down to an acceptable level.
Pros:
- Compatible with AMD and Intel chipsets
- Easy to install and configure
- High performance
- Inexpensive (expected when it will be available)
- High overclocking potential (Hynix IC)
- RGB (for those who like RGB)
Cons:
- No RGB management software – some little issues with the motherboard software
Final words:
The Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith RGB 32GB DDR5-5600 memory kit combines high performance, RGB illumination, incredible overclocking potential, and good stability. All that is expected, is for these amazing memory kits to appear in stores at a reasonable price. There is not much more that gamers can expect to get.
