Team Group Vulcan T-Force 16GB DDR4-3000 Memory Kit Review

Package and Closer Look

The Vulcan T-Force has arrived in a retail package which is a plastic blister. It’s the most popular package type for RAM and flash memory products.

We can clearly see what is inside the package and there is not much but we are not expecting to see much more considering it’s a memory kit.

Inside the package are two memory modules, 8GB each and user’s manual which for most users won’t be required as installation is really simple. However if you’ve never installed memory before then better check it.

The Vulcan T-Force memory is covered by lifetime warranty what you can see described on the package. It’s also pretty common for RAM and most manufacturers are sure about their products quality. There are also rarely any issues with RAM and if anything happens then it’s usually on the motherboard’s side like problems with BIOS/UEFI.

The memory is protected by aluminum heatsinks. They’re low profile and should work with any available processor cooling solutions.

Red and black mix of colors isn’t anything unusual on the gaming products market, however Team Group combined them in a new and fresh way. Memory modules got quite unique looks.

As I already mentioned earlier, Team Group decided to use Hynix SK memory chips which are installed on one side of PCB. Other way we can call it single rank memory kit. Most users don’t have to even know what it means as it’s not affecting user’s experience while using this type of product. Some can be interested in fact that in general single rank memory kits are overclocking higher.

Team Group Vulcan T-Force looks great especially on gaming motherboard series like ASUS ROG, MSI and Gigabyte Gaming series or ASRock Fatality. Most these motherboards are keept in black/red theme.

For most users performance is more important than the looks so let’s move to the next page to check how Vulcan T-Force is performing in popular benchmarks.
