Box and Packaging
The box and packaging is just like any other memory kit … all except for the fact that these modules are “Special Edition”. With only 50 sets ever made, I’m sure these modules will be hard to get hold of … so expect a premium price for them.
A Closer Look
Each module is apparently made with hand picked memory chips from Samsung DDR4 B-die, and uses 10 layer PCB and high quality aluminum CNC crafted heat spreader, which gives the modules a premium feel and look.
You’ll also notice the signature of the product manager/engineer who developed these modules. The signature is etched using a high power laser technology autograph machine. It looks so cool!
Installation
The modules are quite low-profile considering … and there was no issues with installation, with plenty of room around the sockets and DIMM slots. No RGB here … so RGB-haters will love them 😀
