Conclusion and Verdict
I really liked seeing something other than a honeycomb cutout for the shell. The triangle cutouts make this stand out against all other ultralight weight mice. I do wish there was some RGB but that would have added unnecessary weight so I guess I can let it go since we are going for the least amount of weight achievable. The performance was very good, as the specifications indicated. This can all be enhanced with customizing the mouse even further in the Armoury Crate software. The air was able to flow through the mouse and hit my hand directly rather than only getting air flow relief when a claw gripped the mouse. The durability of the plastic seems to be durable enough to be cleaned over and over without causing any issues with the finish.
This mouse is extremely light, yet I never found it to be too light. I worried about that, but I found the mouse felt sturdy and never felt like it was going crack under pressure. I was impressed at what little effort I had to put into zipping this thing around my mouse pad. Long story short if you are looking for one of the lightest mice on the market and passed on the others because you were not a fan of the honeycomb design, well all your dreams have come true and you can get the M4 Air, courtesy of ASUS TUF!
