The answer is in the detail and the details are fantastic for a keyboard and mouse at this price. The LED backlight looks awesome on both the mouse and keyboard. The keyboard has all the standard keys and media shortcuts along with volume control buttons. The mouse has the DPI button and the 2 side buttons. The design feels good, looks good and although being very basic; the MasterKeys Lite L Combo gets the job done in style. The mouse, for being plastic, has a nice feel and weight. The keyboard also has a nice weight and feels very durable. The keyboard has a thick hefty look anf feel. The backlight on the MasterKeys Lite L Combo is very uniform. Each key lights up equally and the backlight under the keys is absolutely gorgeous. The design used, to light the keyboard up, is top notch. The scroll wheel is lit up as well as the bottom of the rear of the mouse. The palm area also has a small Cooler Master logo.

Performance
I have used and evaluated the MasterKeys Lite L Combo for close to 10 hours. The keyboard uses Cooler Master’s Mem-chanical switches. These switches have very good feedback and are a little quitter than your mechanical switch. Only time will tell how durable these switches are but I have seen no issues in my testing. The height and the angle at which the keyboard sits allows for a comfortable experience. Keep in mind the Keyboard has a pretty thick structure. With the backlight function off the keys are a little hard to read, but hey this keyboard would make a great tool for someone want to increase their typing skills. The mouse has a flatter palm style. I personally like the curved high palm. While I prefer the latter the MasterKeys Lite L Combo was very easy to adjust to. The responsive clickers made for an easier acclimation to the mouse.
The weight of the mouse is decent and the Teflon skids on the bottom slid well on every surface I threw at the MasterKeys Lite L Combo. The laser impressed me. While some mice will sputter out of control on certain surfaces this thing actually tracked on my glass of tea I had near by. The switch between the DPI modes is seamless with no lag and the speed of travel is very noticeable meaning the DPI rate in fact works as intended. For being a basic keyboard you could not ask for much more but if you want to setup dedicated keys for game that must be done with in game software or third party software because no software is included with the MasterKeys Lite L Combo. This keyboard will not blow your mind with fancy functions and software, but will indeed get the job done and look good in the process!
