Today we’ll be taking a quick look at the Cooler Master MM720 Gaming Mouse. I could only find one other mouse that rang in at 48g. So we can safely assume this is the second lightest gaming mouse on the market right now. When you look up lightest gaming mouse. You soon find out one thing that makes this mouse stand out against all the other in this category. This mouse is quite a bit wider than anything offered. This mouse has a dedicated spot for your ring finger. To completely honest it felt weird at first. I am so used to my finger dragging on the mouse pad or using that finger for movement leverage. Having a spot for it was different at first. Being able to have that many many fingers on my mouse kind of reminded me of the old trackball mouse that had the rollerball in the center. Different at first but once you acclimated yourself to it, it was very natural. I know the two mice are nothing alike but having that much real estate on top felt very similar in the hand. If you are familiar with the CM Spawn line from Cooler Master than you might notice the similar design. And if you loved that mouse now you have an epic lightweight mouse to upgrade too. The honeycomb on the MM720 is similar to the design you might find on the MM711 except for the openings on the MM720 are slight smaller. We could call this mouse a Wide, classic right-handed shape for claw grip, with a finger rest for added comfort.
