With the K57 we get a detachable palm rest that is a huge plus in books. I like to see this on my keyboard personally. I utilize this feature all the time. You also get dedicated Volume and multimedia controls. Once again a must in my opinion. The battery life is advertised to last for quite a while without needing a charge, 35 hours with the RGB lighting active. We will test this out in the performance section.
