The 600M features a nice smooth and silky like finish that comes in a black or orange scheme, as featured in this review. The USB cable is braided and that is a must allowing for more flexibility and the USB plug is gold plated. The scroll wheel and button placement are positioned in very ergonomic friendly areas. The COUGAR logo is in the center of the body running vertical along the center of the 600M. The thumb button (also referred to as the sniper button) is not in the way when your thumb is resting on the flat area around the mouse. The bottom of the mouse has your typical power ratings, s/n, and so on and also houses four mouse skates. The pads are smooth, and seem to be made of a hard enough material that the lifespan of the feet are nothing to worry about. The DPI indicator lights up along with an under glow under the mouse buttons.
