Conclusion and Verdict
In, conclusion the Cougar MINOS XT Pink holds its 25 dollar price tag very well. The DPI isn’t amazing if you are someone that can control a mouse at 16,000 DPI or have a 72″ screen. But for me on my 32″ screen I have always set my mice to 3750 DPI. So for me this mouse meets that demand. The DPI is adjustable through software. This also checks another box. I really like to be able to fine tune my DPI and if all you get is 3 or 4 preset settings you will never get what you really want. RGB! yes it has RGB which now days is a must have. Lights just make everything better! The sensor is OK. The ADNS-3050 think of the sensor like a camera the better the camera the better the picture quality. This sensor is the high end of the sorts but is plenty for gaming. Plus this is all in a 25 dollar mouse. That is a price that is hard to beat with all the features of this mouse.
Now for the color. Now this Pink edition is probably only going to target a small group if this is what you are looking for you wont be disappointed as the color isn’t harsh or bright. The color is more of a pastel on the color wheel.
On a side note they have this exact same model in Black if Pink isn’t your cup of tea!
The Cougar MINOS XT Pink can be found on mwave for around $39.00 USD. It is showing unavailable on Amazon where it was cheaper than this 39 dollar price tag.

The Cougar Minos XT Pink is a mouse that offers a nice spec sheet for such a small price! The value you get compared to similar models is a no brainer that this mouse should be considered. And they have it in Pink!
