Conclusion and Verdict
In, conclusion the accuracy and consistency of the 1000 Hz seems to be legit with out using any high powered software for testing. I put the mouse through your everyday tasks and a few gaming sessions and never encountered and issues. The worst is skipping and that was something I never noticed while using this mouse. The feel of the mouse is good. You can definitely use the mouse as a claw grip with average size hands. My mouse of choice for some time now is the Cougar 700M. The Surpassion RX has a little more curve than that particular mouse but similar in overall length and identical in height. The mouse can also be used in the palm comfortably if that’s your style. Your only limit on this mouse is DPI and that tops out at 7200. For me that isn’t an issue as I use my mice around 3700. Anything more and its like my mouse is a drift car skidding all over the place.
The battery life was as good as expected and best off all you can use the mouse in wired mode if you don’t have the time or forget to charge the mouse you are still in the middle in a gaming session that you can’t break away from.
Now for all the RGB craze. Yes you get a little of that flare with this mouse. The logo on the back is nice and bright and the scroll wheel also has a little back-light to it also. All the lighting selections, DPI, and Polling rates are selected using the mouse buttons as there is no software to run this mouse.
This mouse will stand out in one of the most important departments. PRICE!! The Surpassion RX is easily priced to make your eyes open a little wider. The 60 dollar price tag is easily one of the cheapest wireless 1000 Hz mice you can find on the market right now. Cougar has quality products and this price point is simply amazing!
