Packaging & Design
Nothing fancy here, straight forward packaging with artwork reminiscent of an 80s sci-fi movie, listing all the features of the ZorA. No disks, no accessories, just a sheet of paper as a manual.
When I said ‘retro’ I really did mean it. On first impressions the ZorA reminded me of the first Dell mice that I used, a sleek curving profile with a big rounded palm rest. No height adjustments and no detachable cable here.
At first glance of the ZorA you will be surprised that it weighs (with all the weights inserted) over 130g, and not a flimsy computer mouse full of air. With a light mouse I find that I scroll over my mousepad too quickly, and my personal preference are mice that are more weighted. The material covering the upper body of the ZorA is of a shiny plastic. LED illumination is at 4 locations on the ZorA; the scroll wheel LED that changes depending on the profile being used, but can also be customized. The DPI indicator, the “eG” logo on the heel, and there is even the Zora name that lights up, but the latter three remain red all the time.
Lets take a quick look at some of the features on the ZorA.
