Conclusion and Verdict
Well we reached the conclusion, where I’m going to sum up my experience with the X15. So many buttons. If you were to utilize very single one then you have accomplished more than what I was able to do. There are so many it kind of gets hard to keep track what goes where. Yes these are programmable but could take you a while to become quick at using that many. Even if gamming isn’t your thing this mouse would work good for other macros as well. You could have these buttons programmed to your software if you like. So if you are looking for a mouse with as many buttons as you can find then you need to not look any further because this mouse has them.
Now that we covered the obvious numerous buttons. Lets speak a little on the actually performance. The mouse held up very well during the daily work load. The gaming performance is very good and you have plenty of customization options in the software. So find your preferred DPI and get to work! I had no complaints in the feel, smoothness across a surface, and comfortability. Now for the switches. Optical mouse switches are somewhat new to the gaming mouse space. They work using an infrared light system on the board of the mouse. These still have a very pleasant click feedback and will outlast any Omron switch for sure. I could tell a very subtle difference in the click. The click was a little less pronounced when compared to a traditional switch. No worries, they feel practically the same.
You need RGB on a mouse right. Yep, I agree. EVGA didn’t forget about that either. We have 3 separate zones on the X17. One on the very front that emits a nice glow out of the front of the mouse. The next zone is on the scroll wheel and the third is on the very back of the mouse where the logo is.
