Well, membrane a gamers choice? If you constantly spill drinks on your keyboard, then yes! The feedback is not horrible but very different than a mechanical feel. You can say the membrane keyboard is a lot quieter and has a very smooth actuation feel. Its not a horrible feel but games prefer the feedback of a mechanical switch. If you want an insider tip of what a membrane keyboard may feel like. Then go to any office and you will be to find one in front of any workplace computer. These are usually what you would find with a typical work station. Reason being, they are way cheaper. Whether you can game on one is up to you. I wouldn’t recommend it if you are looking for a competitive edge. But you have lost out on gaming hours because you have spilt something on your keyboard then you be ahead of the game. So in short, yes you can game with this keyboard no problem. Just expect less resistance and a smooth/quieter feel.
This keyboard is a great solution to those of us that are clumsy around our hardware. This keyboard would be great for you if you find yourself sharing your system with your family. No more worries about your keyboard being ruined by a spilt drink. The software is just as capable as it is on EVGA’s high end keyboards. And the lights are just as good too.
