The Software
The software that controls the keyboard is pretty easy to use. You can program your macros, set your profiles and adjust the RGB light settings. You have a total of 16 million colors to play with!
A one-click option allows you to install new software or firmware, which can be downloaded and updated via the software.
Gaming
As for gaming, the RIPJAWS KM780 is very responsive. This is all thanks to the Cherry MX Brown keyswitches with its short 2mm actuation distance. The anti-ghosting function, along with the Full N-Key Rollover feature also helps. Another bonus is the gaming keycaps. The contoured feel and bright colors help you to distinguish the most common keys used for gaming.
I also like the programmable macro keys, which allow you to set certain key strokes to be programmed and saved in to 6 dedicated macro keys. And finally, the RIPJAWS KM780 allows you to set your own profiles for the keyboard, which means you can assign different profiles for different games.
All-in-all, the RIPJAWS KM780 is very good gaming keyboard that will cater for the most demanding of gamers.
