The RX85 RGB is one more well-balanced Genesis product designed for gamers.
We had no problems with our review sample. The keyboard works well and gives us a wide range of adjustments. All keys are fully programmable, which includes RGB illumination but also various macros.
Genesis adds an easy-to-use software without which all the functionality would be limited. The software is not much different than that of top competitive gaming series products. If anyone was using any other software for mice or keyboards, then will handle the Genesis one without issues.
The keyboard is not as loud as typical mechanical keyboards and is more comfortable than keyboards with tall keys. It also includes a wrist rest which is handy during longer gaming sessions.
I’m not a fan of the font used for keys. They seem not so sharp without a backlight and blurred when brighter light is passing through them. Maybe I’m picky but I feel it could be improved.
The Genesis RX85 RGB keyboard costs around £95 in the Amazon UK store. It’s significantly more than some smaller stores ask for this keyboard. If you browse some more then can find it for around £60. At this price, it’s maybe still not cheap, but it already seems very reasonable for what RX85 offers.

The Genesis RX85 RGB is for sure an interesting option, for all gamers who expect the keyboard to give them a wide range of functionality, macros, good response time, and RGB illumination, which is everywhere nowadays. Genesis delivered a well-designed keyboard that should satisfy gamers and all other users as it’s comfortable, and even though it’s a mechanical type, it’s not loud while typing.
