Genesis Mouse Software
Genesis provides dedicated software for the Zircon 550 mouse. The software can be installed from a single file that is provided on the product website. After two clicks, the software is installed.
Compared to the one used in the previously reviewed Genesis products, the software has some improvements. For sure, there is a slightly different font. Everything is also sharper, and even though changes are not so significant, then everything looks better. Everything is also easier to use.
On the first tab, called lighting, we can see a picture of our mouse and browse various options. There is a list of RGB modes and manual settings. There we can also check our mouse battery life or program buttons.
The second tab, called DPI, includes DPI settings, and we can program RGB lighting under each DPI settings.
The parameter tab lets us set mouse and scroll speed.
On the last tab, we can set macros.
The software is easy to use and functional. There were no problems with the software or the mouse itself during tests.
