The XM300 Gaming Mouse is certainly aggressive aesthetically, while functioning exactly as designed. The lighting accents are subtle and help to add to the visual appeal. Thankfully the lighting brightness is adjustable and not overly bright by default. It is a small ding that the DPI indicator LEDs cannot be customized as well.
Performance
Overall, I was impressed by the comfort and quality of the XM300 Gaming Mouse. The shape of the XM300 is curvy and edgy all at the same time; and the design and layout is very well thought out. The mouse button clicks are subtle yet precise. The mouse buttons are also quiet compared to other products on the market. The scroll wheel is also pretty smooth and responsive as well.
The 6400 DPI capability of the mouse is a pretty good setting for most users, yet it is adjustable in increments of 50 to cater to almost anyone out there. GIGABYTE did an incredible job here of finding that perfect balance, which some other mice out there in the market lack for sure. Job well done, GIGABYTE!
