Conclusion
The Alloy Origins Core RGB is a perfect keyboard for gamers who don’t need a numeric pad and wish to save space on the desk. Let’s be honest; gamers don’t need a numeric pad, so it’s perfect for all gamers. Since we can pick one of three key switches, then everyone can choose the most comfortable option. For me, HyperX Aqua switches are so far the best, so also the tested version of the Alloy Origins seems like the best for my needs.
HyperX Alloy Origins Core RGB is also durable, with an aluminum body and thick, braided USB cable. The whole keyboard is well-designed, and I can’t really find weak points. If I were picky, then I would say it’s loud while typing, but I don’t think that most users care about it, and it’s not something that could be avoided in a mechanical keyboard.
One of the more interesting features is, of course, RGB illumination, which can be controlled via HyperX NGENUITY software. The software is, of course, available to download for free from the HyperX website.
We can all see how the RGB illumination works. It’s simply exceptional and looks great. There are multiple modes, so everyone should be satisfied.
The HyperX Alloy Origins Core RGB Gaming Keyboard costs around $89 in the Amazon store – https://amzn.to/2TczIwt. It’s maybe not cheap, but I find it reasonable as the keyboard is exceptional and still costs less than some competitive products.

Final words:

Every HyperX product I’m testing is better than the previous one, so it’s not hard to guess that the HyperX Alloy Origins Core fully deserved our Editor’s Choice Award!
