Mionix Naos 7000 Gaming Mouse Review

Performance

In the time I was using the Mionix Naos 7000 gaming mouse, I was impressed by the comfort and quality construction of the mouse. The shape of the Naos 7000 is ergonomically made so that it can support all five fingers, the surface of the mouse is also very soft. The buttons are subtle yet precise. The scroll wheel is very easy to press, for me a bit to easy so I turned off the scroll click. So very cool you can just turn it of if you do not need or want it. The Mouse has a DPI setting from 50 to 7000 (hence the name Naos 7000). Luckily you do not have to use a DPI of 7000, you can set three different profiles you can switch between on the fly. For example  a slow DPI for very precise things, a normal DPI of 1500 to do normal things or your default setting and a fast setting of 7000 for really fast actions (just an example, some people prefer faster or lower DPI setting for those different things)

The big thing I dislike about the mouse is about the same like the Steelseries Rival mouse, it does not work very well on some surfaces like my wooden desk probably other surfaces as well. But when using a mousepad or something really flat there is no problem at all. Most gamers are using a mousepad anyway, because it is soft and really flat or just that little bit of extra performance.

And there we have it readers, the awesome Mionix Naos 7000 mouse! Let us review some points and final thoughts in the verdict of our review.

Verdict

So that was our review of the Mionix Naos 7000, now let us review the positive and negative points of this mouse starting with the positive ones. First of all it fits really great in the hand thanks to the ergonomic shape of the mouse which makes the mouse really comfortable. It has a lovely braided cable. Two zone illumination with choice out of 16.8 million colors. Changeable DPI profiles from 50 till 7000. Very light weight mouse but still feels very durable and strong.

On the negative side the mouse does not work so well on all surfaces like my wooden desk, on my Steelseries QcK mousepad on the other hand I do not have any problems. At last the price is a little bit high to compete with the Steelseries Rival, Corsair Vengeance M65 and so on most of the mouses are priced around 60 a 70 euros while the Mionix Naos 7000 costs 80 Euro

Pros:

– Illumination

– Braided cable

– Great comfort

– 7000 DPI

– Light weight with great build quality

Cons:

– Does not work great on all surfaces

– Price a bit high

Final Words:

The Naos 7000 is a great mouse with lots of cool things like illumination, high DPI setting, braided cable,… Also it looks very nice and is really comfortable thanks to the special shape. If you are looking for a great mouse with good ergonomics and a cool look I can really recommend it.
