Conclusion and Verdict
For an entry level product intended for starters, this mouse is loaded with some of advanced features you find on a higher tier mouse. First off you can utilize the Viper software and dial in this mouse to enhance your gaming experience. You can customize the RGB, adjust the DPI, set up 7 macros, and even adjust the polling rate. Some of these are limited to some aspect but the fact that you can tweak them to your liking is something that usually isn’t found on a 20 dollar mouse. The hardware inside is considered entry level. The Avago 3050 optical sensor is a entry level sensor but for the investment the sensor is perfectly fine for a new gamer. It will serve you well and until you get into a little more serious gaming you may not even notice that the sensor isn’t considered top of the line. The mouse uses Huan Yu WK-01B-60-5 micro switches. These are what recognize the clicks and provide feedback to the user. Until today, I haven’t used these and there isn’t a lot of information about them out there. But just from my short time with them they seem to be just fine. I am not sure how many click they are rated for? But with a doubt they should last you as long as you keep this mouse around. The feedback isn’t horrible. There is a clear click and the buttons aren’t as spongey as I expected.
The Design of the mouse is one of the hidden qualities of this mouse. The fit and feel was one of the best I have encountered for a 20 dollar mouse. It doesn’t feel or look that cheap. The sides even have a rubber grip and the finish on the palm seem to pretty durable. Now for the RGB. For any gamer this is something that is usually required. It literally adds nothing to performance but man its so cool its necessary. With RGB you can add your personal touch to the overall design of the mouse. You will be able to just that with the V530. The RGB is bright and even though the color choices are somewhat limited you will still be able to find that main color that will show off your style.
