The Packaging
The box is neatly packed and smaller than most gaming keyboards that I’ve come across. There is a keycap extraction tool included, along with an envelope containing the quick start guide and some Viper stickers. You’ll also find the magnetic palm rest included.
A Closer Look
The Viper V760 uses Kalih Brown keyswitches and it’s very quiet and pretty responsive. There are no dedicated keys for macros. However, the free downloadable software allows you to program your macros and save it to ANY key on the keyboard. There are also six dedicated multimedia keys, as well as 104 keys with rollover and anti-ghosting feature.
Unlike most keyboards which are black in color, the chassis of the Viper V760 is made from durable aircraft-grade aluminum and has a gun metal grey look. It gives it a nice look and feel to it, which I really like.
I also like the quality of the USB cable. It’s braided and it’s super thick, giving it lasting longevity and durability. You’ll also find one USB pass-through port for easy connectivity.
