Conclusion and Verdict
Well we have a another successful innovation from Steelseries! Simply put, this keyboard is amazing! The switches have a smooth and linear fell to them. Whats even better you can point to any distance along that linear travel to activate the switch, which is quite amazing. You can go as far making any key as sensitive as you desire.
I am not only impressed with that but the fact that the lifespan is higher than tradition mechanical switches, which means this keyboard will last. We have magnets rather than metal contacts in “traditional” keyboards. Yes folks I used the word “traditional”. I think we just witnessed the next step in keyboard evolution. This kinda feels like it was when membrane keyboards became “traditional”. If I understand the process from SteelSeries this has been a 5 year process and they took their time and NAILED IT!
