Conclusion and Verdict
In conclusion, the Rival 100 is a Great affordable mouse. The mouse is made of all plastic and at first can be deceiving and you may think the Rival 100 has no weight. I can guarantee that this is not the case and the Rival 100 has a nice weighty feel. The ergonomics are outstanding too, the Rival 100 has a decent amount of arch and I never had miss fires while gaming. Those can be the worst while playing and you accidently hit a button with your thumb and all fails. I like the button placement, the feedback from the clicks and the weight of the mouse.
The lighting is a nice touch and with the incorporated software you have plenty of options available to fit your needs. SteelSeries has brought an affordable mouse that performs and feels like a quality piece of equipment.

Final thoughts:
I enjoyed every minute of using the Rival 100. SteelSeries has developed and integrated the SteelSeries Engine software to work well with their peripherals. While a having a cable on a mouse can be a nuisance at times I never encountered the cable ever whipping back under the Rival 100 while in intense gaming action. The Rival 100 is definitely recommended at a excellent value.
