Conclusion and Verdict
So that just about sums up the Tizona G2N. Convinced? Well, I hope so. Bearing in mind that this keyboard runs about $80.00 USD + $20.00 USD for the gamepad; however some stores do sell them both together for a cheaper price and you probably could find a slightly better model from Tesoro’s own library of equipment.
For instance: you might decide to buy one with lights. I really love lights. But the lights are not what make the keyboard. The name of the game is functionality, comfort, and a bit of style, and the Tizona has a charm of its own that I think should not be overlooked.
Pros:
- Fully fledged mechanical keyboard, available in four different colors (Brown, Blue, Red, and Black).
- Plenty of media keys.
- Strong and sturdy aluminum chassis.
- No software required.
Cons:
- No palm rest
- No NUMLOCK light
- No customizable macros.
Final Words:
Call me biased, but I was actually tempted to give this a passing grade just on the fact that it was a mechanical keyboard and I love typing. Obviously that would be silly, and luckily I do not have to invent reasons for liking the Tizona.
Honestly, it is a decent keyboard and if you like quality hardware it is best to avoid skimping out for a lesser product. All-in-all, the Tizona is a worthy addition to my stock and I would recommend it to any fellow typing enthusiasts as well as newcomers to mechanical keyboards.
