A Closer Look
The Erebos gaming mouse comes in mostly an all over black color, however five of the eight programmable keys provided by Gamdias comes in a silver color. Your regular right and left click buttons are black while also a black rubber coating covers the clear scroll button. The scroll button should light up and have 16.8 million different colors to choose from once the mouse is connected to the PC. Behind the scroll button is the DPI button which is silver in color. You should be able to change the DPI settings just by clicking that button. The Erebos should have up to 8200 DPI for pixel perfect accuracy. On top of the left clicker is the Erebos logo in the color gold. Gamdias also has their company logo on the mouse. The logo is located on the very back of the mouse and should also light up once the mouse is connected to the PC. As stated above, the last four buttons are the color silver. There is two buttons on each side of the Erebos gaming mouse, both of which, reside right above the interchangeable side panels. Having five of the eight programmable keys the color silver gives the Erebos gaming mouse a very clean color scheme of an all over black with silver trim.
You are able to customize ergonomically to your grip style with three interchangeable side panels. Each set of side panels are black in color much like the rest of the Erebos gaming mouse. Both the mouse and side panels are built of what seems to be a very solid plastic. Three sets of magnets on each side of the mouse holds each side panels on to the Erebos. The magnets must be pretty strong, because I had some difficulty pulling them off. I started to look for a clip or something that would be holding the side panels in place, yet there was none. Once you are able to pull the first side panels off you will be able to customize the mouse to fit your style. The side panels are ambidextrous, which means that this mouse works just as well for both right and left handed people. Gamdias also provides four five gram weights. You can find them underneath the mouse along with the model number, warning of laser lights, where it was designed, and built. Just look for the Gamdias logo on the bottom of the mouse. You will notice that the logo sits in side a circular cap. The circular cap holds each five gram weights. Switching them in and out is very easy to do. All you have to do is twist and pop the cap out. The last thing worth mentioning is that Gamdias provided the Erebos with a braided cable with a gold-plated USB. The cable is 2m in length and is wrapped tightly together with a Velcro tie. The Velcro tie has the words Gamdias written on it.
