Conclusion and Verdict
In conclusion, The Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS Challenger Combo is a super cheap as advertised but good luck finding one to purchase. This thing has been quite the “challenge” to even find online. With that being said I have found a couple of places were it has a MSRP of around 49.99 USD. As you can see I was sent a non US version and everything seemed to function just the same other than having the extra characters on each key. This would be awesome if I could utilize the other language on the keyboard.
Honestly this Combo is affordable but I would hesitate purchasing this particular model. Thermaltake has always been top notch in service. So with that being said don’t expect much from this combo in breathtaking lights and superb performance.
At the time of this review this keyboard is almost impossible to find for purchase (any version). You can buy something similar – the Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS Challenger Prime 3 from Amazon for around USD $29 – https://amzn.to/2Hr8qNz
Pros:
- RGB illumination
- Cheap
- Combo
Cons:
- Durability concerns
- Lighting is Lacking
- USB connections are big and can’t be plugged into next each other
Final thoughts:
I always enjoy testing Thermaltake products. I like seeing whats available for the least amount of money possible and see if it meets my expectations. This Combo has a neutral opinion from me. There is nothing I am super impressed with but I am not disappointed in what this product offers at this price point.
