Thermaltake X1 RGB Gaming Keyboard Review

Lighting Modes in Action

Below is every lighting animation available using the software. For every option, you can do either a static color or a rainbow where every color is used.

With most of the scrolling animations, you can choose whether the animation runs from left-right, right-left, top-bottom or bottom-top.

Similarly to Thermaltake’s RGB fans, there’s a music controlled animation here that works really well. It makes the keyboard look like a soundboard when music is playing and the animations are really well mapped to changes in sound. There are also 3 different options for what direction the animation comes from.

Overall I’m a huge fan of the lighting on this keyboard. Using the software you have tons of options as to how exactly this keyboard looks, plus the lighting itself looks amazing. This is definitely a contender for best-looking keyboard in my opinion.

Now onto keyboard performance, noise and misc things!

You can buy the Thermaltake PREMIUM X1 RGB gaming keyboard from Amazon.com for around USD $130.
