A Closer Look
The ASRock B365 Phantom Gaming 4 is a full size ATX motherboard and comes with a nice gaming design and sleek matt finish. There’s a unique dimple on the right side of the motherboard, which somehow makes it feel “gaming”. LOL!
There is a pretty neat diagnostic feature which can be found via 4 LEDs on the bottom right hand corner. It’s handy for quick diagnostics.
There’s a total 6 x SATA ports, 2 x Ultra M.2 connectors, and 4 x DDR4 DIMM slots supporting up to speeds of DDR4-2666.
On the rear I/O panel, there’s 1 x P/S 2 keyboard and mouse, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x HDMI, 1 x Displayport, 2 x USB 3.1 gen 1 and 2 x USB 3.1 gen 2 with USB Type-C connector. There’s also the gigabit LAN, 2 more USB 3.0 and an array of HD audio connectors.
BIOS
The BIOS is also a breeze to use. But since there are no overclocking options, the only thing you can do is set your ram to run at B365’s maximum speed of DDR4-2666.
I guess this motherboard is perfect for all those gamers who want hassle-free setup and installation. If you’re an overclocking enthusiast, then this motherboard isn’t for you … but for the rest of us, it’s fine.
