Conclusion and Verdict

Even though the ASRock B550 PG Velocita is built on the lower series chipset, it still made a better impression on me than the Z490 version. Everything on this motherboard works as advertised and is perfectly functional. The only thing I wish and I mentioned while reviewing previous motherboards, is an option with WiFi and Bluetooth controller. Wireless communication is getting more popular, while not all users want to search for compatible controllers that may cause them to pick a competitive product.

The motherboard itself combines everything that gamers are searching for, so it is fast, stable, compatible with a wide range of devices, and supports older and newer devices with RGB lighting.

There were no problems during our tests, and the motherboard was offering various overclocking options, which are, of course, a nice addition. Overclocking itself is on the top level. Especially those who like to play with RAM should be satisfied as out of the box; we can set DDR4-5000, of course, as long as our memory kit can do it.
