Installation
During our installation, we used a pair of 8GB Thermaltake Toughram RGB DDR4-3200, an Inwin 103 midi-tower chassis, a Lian-li Galahad 240 AIO CPU cooler, and a Zotac GeForce RTX 2080. All the components fitted nicely with no issues at all. Although air cooling is perfectly fine for your Ryzen processors, you could consider using an AIO cooling solution … if so, then check out the Lian-li Galahad 240 All-in-One RGB Liquid CPU Cooler
BIOS
I love the ‘Razer Edition’ BIOS on these motherboards … it looks so ‘pretty’ 😀
The BIOS on the ASRock’s Taichi series of motherboards are optimized for overclocking and performance tuning. However, I didn’t overclock during our tests. I left everything on AUTO/Default but I did enable XMP profiles for the memory supporting DDR4-3200 ram.
To get the best out of your ASRock B550 Taichi Razer Edition motherboard … please make sure you use the latest BIOS from ASRock. You can download them here.
