Test Setup

For our tests, we will be using a test rig which is comprised of the ASRock B650E Taichi motherboard, along with an AMD Ryzen 9 7900X @ default clock speed of 4.7GHz (with Turbo Boost of up to 5.6GHz), as well as 32GB of Kingston FURY Beast RGB DDR5-6000 in dual channel mode.

All tests were conducted at turbo clock speeds at a resolution of 1920×1080. High or Ultra settings enabled.

Load Temps

Using the the Cooler Master MasterLiquid PL240 Flux AIO, the processor produced a full load temperature of 96 degrees Celsius, which is what I was expecting for a 240mm AIO cooler. Since the Ryzen 9 7900X has a fairly high TDP of 170W, we highly recommend a 360mm AIO cooler.
