Overclocking
Overclocking is never guaranteed so the presented results may vary depending certain conditions and various hardware configurations. I am not recommending overclocking if you do not know what are you doing. High voltages may damage hardware and it will not be covered by warranty.
Aida64 CPUID
Aida64 Memory Test
We got really good memory scores here. When we overclocked the CPU to 4.0GHz, the memory was also overclocked from DDR4-2400 to DDR4-2800.
Cinebench R15
Wow, Cinebench scores was 1240 cb for CPU, which higher than I expected. This is all thanks to the overclocked Intel Core i7-6800K (Broadwell) running @ 4.0GHz.
HyperPI 32M
With an overclocked Intel Core i7-6800K (Broadwell) @ 4.0GHz, the HyperPi times was averaging 10 minutes and 20.8 seconds … much faster than default.
PCMark 8
PCMark 8 scores was pretty decent at 4564. The overclocked Intel Core i7-6800K (Broadwell) @ 4.0GHz made all the difference.
Performance Test CPU Mark
There’s no denying … An overclocked Intel Core i7-6800K (Broadwell) @ 4.0GHz, along with a X99 motherboard just rocks! …
Performance Test Disk Benchmark
Our Crucial MX300 did really well here. The results were as expected so no complaints here.
Temperatures Idle OC @ 4.0GHz
Idle temps are pretty low for an overclocked 6800K @ 4.0GHz
Temperatures Load OC @ 4.0GHz
Overclocked at 4.0GHz my load temps were hitting 64 degrees Celsius. It might seem a little high, but Broadwell chips are known to run HOT when overclocked!
3DMark – Time Spy (Default Settings)
The Time Spy score of 4439 was achieved using our HIS Radeon RX 480. Of course, if we have a GeForce GTX 1070 or GTX 1080 … the score would be much higer. Still, I’m pretty happy with it.
