Today, we’ll be taking a look at the ASRock Phantom Gaming B860i Lightning Wi-Fi motherboard. It cones in an mini-ITX form factor, and it’s considered to be one of the smallest B860 motherboard on the market, measuring just 17.0 x 17.0cm. It features Intel’s latest B860 chipset and is compatible with all the latest Core Ultra (Series 2) processors on the LGA1851 socket.
It features a 10+1+1 Power Phase Design with 110A Dr.MOS for VCore+GT+SA, giving you smooth power delivery and stability. It comes with a composite VRM heatsink combining a cooling fan and several large Aluminium heatsinks for efficient heat dissipation.
It comes with 2 x DDR5 DIMM slots with Memory OC shield, and supports both Intel XMP and AMD EXPO memory modules, with speeds of up to DDR5-9333+ (OC)
Because of its size, you only get 1 x PCIe 5.0 x16 for next-gen graphic cards, but you get plenty of storage options. These include 3 x SATA ports, 1 x Blazing M.2 (PCIe Gen5x4) and 1 x Hyper M.2 (PCIe Gen4x4) slots.
Believe it or not, this motherboard offers plenty of connectivity with total of 12 x USB ports, 1 x Thunderbolt™ 4 Type-C port, a 2.5G LAN, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth.
For connectivity, the rear I/O panel you’ll find 1 x HDMI output, 4 x USB 3.0 Ports, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A Ports, 1 x Thunderbolt 4 Ports Type-C (40 Gb/s)*, 2 x WiFi anntenna connectors, BIOS flashback button, Mic-in, Line-out and SPDIF.
Other features include the 7.1 HD Nahimic Audio, HDMI output and support for BIOS Flashback and ASRock’s Polychrome RGB.
