The Box and Packaging
Inside the box, you’ll find the instruction manual, software setup guide, postcard, drivers disc, 2 packs of SATA data cables, 3 x M.2 screws for your SSDs, a 2-way SLI bride connector, and an antenna base for the Wifi 6.
The X570 Creator Motherboard
The motherboard has a very nice matte black and grey design. There’s a single heatpipe and built-in fan on one of the silver heatsinks that cools the VRMs/Mosfets. You’ll also find 3 full cover heat shield for the Hyper M.2 SSD slots, and it also comes with an integrated fan for active cooling of the chipset.
Notice the 8 x DDR4 DIMM slots. The motherboard will support quad channel memory with speeds of up to DDR4-4666+ (OC). You’ll also find the 4 x PCIE 4.0 x16 steels slots and 2 x 8-pin PCIE power connectors on the top left and right side of the motherboard.
A Closer Look
The motherboard is absolutely feature-packed and comes with 8 x SATA ports, 3 x PCIE 4.0 x16 steel slots, 3 x Hyper M.2 slots for SSDs (covered my a full coverage heatsink with active fan), as well as onboard diagnostic LEDs, and buttons for clear CMOS, power on/off and reset.
For the rear I/O panel, there’s a BIOS flashback button, PS/2 keyboard and mouse port, 2 wifi antenna connectors, a clear CMOS button, a total of 6 x USB 3.2 (Type-A), 1 x USB 3.2 (Type-C) and an array of audio connectors. There’s also the Dragon 2.5G ethernet LAN, and of course the all important Aquantia 10G LAN.
