Test Setup
For our tests, we used a test rig which includes the ASRock TRX40 Creator Motherboard, along with an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X Processor (24/48), base clock at 3.8GHz, with boost clock at 4.5GHz, as well as 32GB of Thermaltake Toughram RGB 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4-3200 ram in quad channel mode.
All tests were conducted at turbo clock speeds at a resolution of 1920×1080. High or Ultra settings enabled.

Load Temps
Load temperatures reached an eye-popping of around 95 degrees Celsius, and this is what you get if you have a massive TDP of 280W. Luckily, our Noctua NH-U12S did an adequate job of cooling the processor … but only just! I would highly recommend you use a decent AIO cooler.
