BIOS/UEFI Overview
The X299 Extreme4 motherboard arrived with BIOS/UEFI in 1.00 version what we can check on the label which is on the BIOS chip. Since usually it’s the best to have the latest BIOS then we’ve updated it to 1.30 version. Screenshots of this BIOS/UEFI you can find below.
ASRock BIOS/UEFI has many options and not all will be used by most of the users but it’s still good to have more than less. Everything in 1.30 version is fully functional and there were no issues with memory compatibility and XMP profiles using couple of memory kits.
