BIOS
The BIOS is fairly straight forward, and there are loads of options for tweaking your motherboard, CPU and memory.
Test Setup
For our tests, we used a test rig which includes the ASRock X399 Phantom Gaming 6 Motherboard, along with an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X at default clock speed of 3.4GHz boost 4.0GHz), as well as 32GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3000 ram in quad channel mode.
All tests were conducted at turbo clock speeds at a resolution of 1920×1080. High or Ultra settings enabled.

Idle Temps
Using the Noctua NH-U12S TR4 SP3 Cooler, we managed to get an idle temperature of 41 degrees Celsius.
Load Temps
Load temperatures reached a high of 65 degrees Celsius … not bad from our Noctua NH-U12S TR4 SP3 Air Cooler. We do highly recommend you use an AIO liquid cooler or a custom loop.
