ASRock Z370 Killer SLI/ac Motherboard Review

The Box and Packaging

Inside the box, you get the usual user manual, drivers disc, I/O backplate, 2 wifi antennas and 2 SATA data cables. There’s also some screws for mounting your M.2 SSDs and a nice ASRock logo sticker.

The Motherboard Itself

The motherboard comes in a full size ATX form factor, but slightly narrower than most ATX motherboards on the market. It comes with a plastic hood for the I/O panel, which makes it look quite nice.

Surprisingly, there are no large heatsinks for the Mosfets/VRMs, which are usually located around the processor socket.

A Closer Look

On the motherboard you’ll find 4 x DDR4 DIMM slots and 2 x PCIE x16 slots for SLI multi-GPU configuration. For storage, you 2 x Ultra M.2 connectors for SSDs and a total of 6 x SATA3 ports.

Sadly, there is no onboard diagnostic LEDs, power-on switch or reset button. I guess you’ll only find those on ASRock’s higher models.

On the I/O pback panel … you have 1 x HMDI, PS/2 keyboard-Mouse combo, 2 wifi antenna connectors, 4 x USB3.0, 2 x USB3.1 (Type-A and C), 1 x DVI, 1 x Gigabit LAN port and an array of audio connectors.
