The Z490 Phantom Gaming ITX/TB3 is a small, yet really powerful motherboard. On the ITX size PCB, we can find everything we may need for a gaming PC and a strong enough power section to handle the i9-10900K processor. If we wish, then nothing stands on our way to overclock our PC as the PG-ITX/TB3 delivers us a set of tools and a great BIOS.
The motherboard supports all popular devices, and there is no problem with even the largest coolers like Noctua NH-D15. Memory kits also work without issues up to DDR4-4800 what was tested by us.
All who are more into PC modding may find this motherboard interesting because of multiple RGB and ARGB connectors and a built-in set of RGB LEDs. Additional fans will also help in the heat if we decide to use water cooling for the CPU. Everything seems well-designed for gamers, and it is hard to complain about anything.
I wish to see PCIe 4.0 support, but I don’t think that any ITX size motherboard with the Z490 chipset supports that. So far, it’s not really important as there are barely any devices that could use it, but it’s still worth mentioning.
Everything on the motherboard is well-prepared for gamers. Gaming design, high speed, easy management, high stability and reliability, and additional lighting effects. What else may gamers need? If I add it’s also not such an expensive option, then everything gathers up in a perfect gaming product.
