Performance – part 2
Storage performance
M.2 performance is higher than that of the PG Velocita. Using the same SSD, we could achieve about 100MB/s higher maximum bandwidth. Overall results are really high considering that for tests has been used Samsung 970 EVO on which is installed test OS.
USB performance
USB 3.2 performance has been tested using Patriot PXD 1TB SSD. Using this SSD, we could achieve nearly the maximum bandwidth of the USB 3.2 port, and it’s one of the best results we’ve seen in our redaction.
Network performance
The PG-ITX/TB3 offers us Realtek Dragon 2.5Gbit LAN port. Since our test environment is limited to 1Gbps, then we’ve tested the bandwidth using this connection. Below are results between two computers which are in the local network. The maximum bandwidth was reaching over 900Mbps, while the average nearly 780Mbps during a longer test. This result is good, especially that the connection was stable, and access time was quite low.
As far as LAN results are good, then I wouldn’t expect to see so high numbers using a wireless connection. We were able to see up to 1500Mbps while the average bandwidth was close to 1100Mbps. It’s the best result so far, which is beating most other motherboards by 100-200Mbps of average bandwidth.
Let’s move to some 3D benchmarks and games.
