BIOSTAR Racing Z270GT6 Motherboard Review

Overclocking

Disclaimer: Overclocking is never guaranteed, so the results may vary depending on certain conditions and various hardware configurations. I am not recommending overclocking if you do not know what are you doing. High voltages may damage hardware and it will not be covered by warranty.

For some reason, I was not able to overclock  our Core i5-7600K to 4.8GHz or higher, nor was able to run the G.Skill DDR4-3200 using XMP profiles.

After some BIOS tweaking, I managed to overclock our Core i5-7600K to a respectable 4.7GHz with DDR4 ram running at 2800MHz. It’s not bad … however, I’ve had better overclocks with the same setup but on a different motherboard.
