Software
COLORFUL is adding functional software that can be used for RGB management but also hardware monitoring. I recommend downloading the latest iGAME software version, as it adds support for various devices with RGB illumination.
The software is also showing us the PC picture with a lighting preview. If we have compatible RAM or other devices, then the list of tabs will be longer.
The monitoring tab could be different as we can’t check values directly in the software. We have to enable OSD to see it. There are multiple skins for the OSD.
Below you can see our test rig. Sadly Kingston RAM isn’t supported in iGAME software, and the Corsair AIO cooler requires Corsair software. Other devices used to check RGB illumination were working without issues but were not installed for the extended motherboard tests.
BIOS/UEFI and Overclocking
The print screen has been improved, the same as the whole BIOS, so we can show you how much you can find in the CVN B760M Frozen BIOS/UEFI.
As usual, there are Easy and Advanced modes, so if you wish to play with some more settings then you can do that as well.
Easy Mode
Advanced Mode
The motherboard has about the same options as the motherboards of brands such as ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, or MSI. The list of available memory settings is a bit shorter, but barely anyone will use it.
All options that we tested were working fine, so I can say that the BIOS is pretty good. RAM support could be better, but for the B760 motherboard, it’s still acceptable.
Now it’s time for some tests, so we are moving to the next page.
