Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO WIFI Motherboard Review

The Box and Packaging

The packaging for the Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO Wi-Fi motherboard is adequately flashy and informative. The silver AORUS logo is front and center with streaks of orange and black highlights everywhere. Logos and stamps are everywhere so that there is no mistake in identifying what this beast of a motherboard offers features and specifications wise.

In the packaging you will receive the following:

  • Manual, User Guide, and Warranty information
  • Driver Disc
  • 4 Black SATA Cables
  • External Wi-Fi Antennae
  • RGB Cable
  • M.2 standoffs and screws
  • Case Badge
  • Front Panel EZ connector

The Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO Wi-Fi Motherboard

The Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO Wi-Fi motherboard has an immaculate design that is very thoughful and clean. All of the headers and ports are appropriately placed and not cramped at all. The color scheme also matches the AORUS brand as we have seen on previous generations of motherboards. You know the saying, “If it ain’t broke, dont fix it?” It is definitely not broke!

Black is a fantastic color for the PCB and arguably the most popular among those of us who love to build our own systems. The orange hues contrast perfectly with the silver and black theme, where it can be visually presented, which is a smart aesthetic design choice.

A Closer Look

The Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO Wi-Fi motherboard is outfitted with and impressive amount of armor shielding, heat spreaders, cooling fins and even a chipset heatsink and fan. As you will see later in the review, all of this cooling is very adequate and keeps the motherboard completely stable during intense usage and high work loads.

The Gigabyte X570 AORUS PRO Wi-Fi gets its power from a standard 24-pin power connector along with an 8+4-pin CPU power connector as well.

The backside of the motherboard is very clean; so if your chassis has a tempered glass side panel you will not have to worry about anything looking sub-par. Also supported are two M.2 SSDs, which can be run in RAID, and are cooled by the included and sleekly designed black heat spreaders. All of the memory slots and two main PCIe slots are reinforced with metal, which is fantastic considering that those are usually the high-traffic slots on any motherboard and will decrease the chances of wear and tear.

There are two USB 3.0 headers on the motherboard and also a USB 3.1 Type-C header as well. My shiny Lian-Li PC-011 Dynamic was happy to plug into this port and it is very welcome to see the new technology being included in these new AMD motherboards! Another noteworthy mention is the amount of fan headers provided on this motherboard. There are plenty installed to cater both air and liquid-cooling enthusiasts alike! Along with the two M.2 slots comes 6 SATA ports as well, so the average user will have plenty to cover their storage needs.

Also very impressive is the I/O for this motherboard, which consists of USB 2.0, 3.0 and 3.1 ports aplenty (including Type-C), along with HDMI 2.0, external Wi-Fi connectors. The onboard audio includes a optical port as well.

And with that, let’s get this motherboard installed, powered to life and peruse through the BIOS!
