Photos Part One: The Box
Humidity protection? That’s news to me, I’ve seen it touted in a couple places but I have no idea how true it is.
All sorts of stuff back here, including some absolutely hilarious content-free graphs. Not surprisingly it’s all information that is on the previous specs/features page. We do get another look at the motherboard though, it looks pretty nice!
Nothing special on the ends. The sides are quite similar to the ends, except for a text box in a multitude of languages. Maybe the insides will be more interesting, I’ll open it up:
Well that didn’t help. I’ll try opening that box.
That didn’t help either. I’ll raise the flap, maybe we’ll finally see something.
Hey it’s a motherboard! The board lives on top of the accessories now instead of under them. I like this change. Let’s pull the board out of the way and check out said accessory pack.
Looks like a decent selection, I’ll spread ’em out.
Six SATA cables, one USB3 3.5″ bay adapter with mounting screws, a SLI bridge and a rear IO plate. Not the most extensive of accessory packs, but not bad at all. Half the SATA cables have angled plugs on one end for cable management purposes:
Often convenient, sometimes annoying. I like having a few of those angled plugs around. Let’s check out the board itself, shall we?
