Gigabyte has stepped up their “Ultra Durable” game once again, apparently “great” wasn’t good enough for them! Now we’re on Ultra Durable 5, which is signified by “UP” rather than “UD”, for reasons unknown to me.
For this board they have also added a pair of Thunderbolt ports, which include the capability to run the new “4K” (3,840 x 2,160) resolution monitors/tvs. Of course, those are still a bit expensive at this point!
In case you’re wondering, Webster-Merriam says the following about “sonorous”:
- Producing sound (as when struck)
- Full or loud in sound sonorous voice
- Imposing or impressive in effect or style
- Having a high or an indicated degree of sonority
I’m assuming it’s #3 that gigabyte is after, they’ve definitely produced more than noise in response to consumers.
