Packaging
The packaging for the GIGABYTE Z97X-SLI motherboard is a medium-sized full-color cardboard box that sports a semi-glossy finish. The front of the package has the large Ultra Durable badge which stands for long lasting quality. Also residing on the front of the package is the company logo as well as the socket, processor, and chipset information so that you know exactly which generation of motherboard that this is. All of the text is large, bright, and easily readable which is right in-line with other products from GIGABYTE.
The back side of the package has a very nice detailed layout of the motherboard as well as some of the highlighted features along with specifications, device support, and connectivity options. All of the pertinent information is printed to help the consumer decide if this product fits their particular needs. We would expect nothing less from GIGABYTE!

Inside of the packaging we will find the motherboard itself which is protected with an anti-static bag. Also included in the packaging are the software CD, User’s Manual, an SLI connector, I/O shield, case badge, and a pair of SATA cables. The included items may seem like a slim bundle at first, however this was probably the case to help keep the final cost of the motherboard down, which we will see later is a fantastic trade-off!
