The PX1000G PSU is one more strong unit specified for a continuous 1000W of load. Peak wattage can be even higher, but it’s not recommended to keep it for longer. A 1000W of power seems perfect for any gaming PC nowadays. Even though graphics cards have specified 850W+ then, in reality, computers won’t pass 1000W even with RTX4090 and top series CPUs like i9-13900K or Ryzen 9 7950X.
In our tests, we had to overclock everything to pass 700W, and even with additional components, we were still quite far from 1000W. On the other hand, when we buy a PSU with a higher wattage than we need, we can expect it will run quietly and deliver perfectly stable voltages for long years.
Deepcool gives us a very long, 10-year warranty. It’s the longest warranty on the market, and the manufacturer has to be sure about the quality of its products to offer such an extended warranty. No one wishes to generate costs with returns.
The PSU has a strong single +12V rail which is rated at nearly 1000W itself. It’s the best choice in modern gaming computers as it delivers enough power and keeps everything stable for the most power-hungry components, so top series CPUs and graphics cards.
Even if we won’t use the full power, then the lower load guarantees us quiet work, and when the PSU fan doesn’t have to spin, then sucks less dust inside and keeps clean and in perfect condition for longer.
