Conclusion
The Hydro PTM Pro 1350W is an improvement compared to the previously tested Hydro PTM Pro unit. Each time we test FSP PSU, it’s slightly better than the last one. I’m glad to see those changes, even if they are not significant in some models. In the new series, we received a higher wattage and new 12V-2×6 graphics card connectors. Since the last version was already great, it’s hard to complain about the not-so-long list of improvements. The PSU was great, so there wasn’t much to improve.
The PSU offers stable power delivery, is fully modular, and is quiet during higher loads. It’s also equipped with new graphics card connectors and all the modern protection standards. It’s clear that we recommend such a well-designed PSU. Even though the competition is getting hard to beat, then FSP prices may convince to this brand.
FSP is sure of its top quality and gives us a 10-year warranty. It’s not the only PSU on the market with such an extended warranty, but there are not many series that can share the same.
The Hydro PTM Pro 1350W ATX 3.0 PSU costs around $317, so it’s not cheap, but compared to the competitive PSUs, it’s quite a reasonable price.
Final words:
FSP has yet again delivered a perfect PSU for demanding users like avid gamers or PC enthusiasts. The Hydro PTM Pro 1350W gives user plenty of power, safety, quiet operation, modular design, top build quality, and a 10-year warranty. All that is reasonable for a 1350W price. It’s hard to go wrong with this PSU!
